Creation of How Well Do You Know Them?
Exhibition and the project.
I showed grit pretty well during the exhibition because the speaker we were using was not turning on so I used grit to help find a way to turn it on. Then we also had a problem when we were trying to do something in our game but we had to use grit to stop that part of the game because it didn’t work well. I showed empathy when there were some other group members didn’t have work to do, I used empathy and gave them a job because I know how boring it is to not have a job during exhibition. I showed respect when I held the door for others to come into our show. Then with respect I repeated the questions for the game shows and rules for those with lesser hearing skills. I showed responsibility when I stayed on the schedule and and looked at took photos for the DP. I showed bravery by talking to one of the new kids coming to my high school and welcoming him even when it’s out of my comfort zone. I had lots of integrity during exhibition, ways that I showed it was by being full of energy and welcoming others to my game show. I looked out for my group members when they didn’t have a job to benefit everyone. I had great work ethics throughout the whole exhibition and through my whole project. I made sure all of my work was done and I am proud to say that I didn’t procrastinate through the project. My collaboration skills were decent through the project. I tried to get some of my group members to do work but some put little to no effort, and only really one helped me out a lot. I wish that they would collaborate back and do their work but then I had to do their jobs because they wouldn’t do theirs. My oral communication skills are on point during exhibition because I was very energized and happy when speaking and people gave me back the energy I gave to them. My group members understood me on exhibition day which paid off. Written communication skills were useful. I did have to write some emails to my teachers about materials we needed, then I had to write understandable questions for the game show. My content for this project was 9th grader quality and was done to the best of my ability, the frame stood up after trial and fail and was sturdy for the whole exhibition. It turned out well for the parts I did and it was overall a fun and unique project.
